Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg made me look at gifs in a whole new light again. While most of the Internet is swarmed with animated gifs commonly used for Internet memes and such, Jamie Beck and Kevin Burg fused cinematic photography and animation together.

For the uninitiated a gif or Graphics Interchange Format is a bitmap image format that was introduced by CompuServe in 1987 and has since come into widespread usage on the World Wide Web due to its wide support and portability.
